Niseko Canyoning: Race Through a Summer Canyon with Every Fiber of Your Being

Canyoning is an outdoor sport in which you descend a canyon using only your own body.

In the beautiful gorge near the headwaters, you can enjoy natural water slides and jumping into the pools at the base of waterfalls—it’s an incredibly exhilarating experience. The water is crystal clear, and you can even see fish swimming.

There are two types of courses, and the guide will select the best one based on the weather and water levels.It gives me peace of mind knowing they'll take care of it for me♪

Authentic Activities That Even Experienced Participants Will Love

Both courses are packed with thrills and are sure to satisfy even experienced canyoning enthusiasts.

Although participants must be at least 12 years old, it’s so challenging that even adults say it’s difficult to complete the entire course. Be sure to come and experience that exhilarating feeling for yourself!

Hours.	Contents
(i)	Meet at the designated location and check in. Fill out the participation agreement and make your payment.
(2)	Preparing for the activity and traveling to the site. You’ll be equipped with a wetsuit, canyoning boots, a life jacket, a helmet, slider pants, and gloves.
(iii)	Trying It Out #1 We moved to a stream near its headwaters. We could see fish swimming in the crystal-clear water. As I explained the current at each spot, we alternated between floating along with the current and jumping in.
4)	Trying It Out, Part 2 If a section looks scary, you can simply walk alongside the current to avoid it. It’s a spot where just walking feels great.
5)	Trying It Out #3 Finally, we try our hand at the high jump. There aren't many rounds where everyone can clear it, but whether we make it or not, we all have a great time together.
6)	End of the tour. Please return your equipment, and you’re free to go. There’s also a shower where you can wash your feet.
